Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day My Sorority volunteered at the Veterans Domiciliary. We served a supper, cake and presented a financial Workshop to the Veterans that served our country. Followed by.... A wonderful evening in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. presented by the Cleveland Orchestra This lady could "sang!!!" We were a little ways up...But it was awesome!!

OVER THE WEEKEND..... The season of Founders Day is upon us.... So of course I celebrated Alpha Kappa Alpha Founders Day with a reception on Friday with tasty Hors d'oeuvres, great music and the guest of honor the 1st International Vice President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson. Followed by an early, early, early...for me at least Saturday Alpha Kappa Alpha Founders Day Brunch. Of course I start no Saturday without my Starbucks in hand. I volunteered with Ohio Homecoming on a cold, snowy, snowy, New Year's Eve! If you didn't attend you really missed out, Krewella performed, there was plenty of beer, cocoa, apple cider and beer! I made it on the train home just as the clock struck midnight...wouldn't have it any other way!
